This study analyzes the causes of abnormal returns with strong buying of individual investors, even though there is no information to influence stock prices, through the behavioral financial method related to the limited attention. The analysis is conducted for stocks that have received an inquired disclosure by a significant market fluctuation(surge of stock price) between January 2013 and December 2015, and whose answers are indeterminate or no specific. The results of the analysis are as follows. First, in the case of the above-mentioned stocks, abnormal return and the increase of buying of individual investors which are difficult to explain reasonably are shown. Second, the increase of buying of individual investors is due to the observations of subjective attention factors that individual investors can easily access, such as price ceiling and increase of trading volume, as claimed in the limited attention. Finally, whether or not subjective attention factors are easily observed affects the stock prices.
본 연구는 주가에 영향을 미칠만한 어떤 정보도 없음에도 불구하고 개인투자자들의 강한 매수세를 동반한 비정상수익률의 발생 현상에 대하여 한정관심(Limited Attention)과 관련된 행동재무학 (Behavioral Finance)적 접근 방법을 통해 그 원인을 분석한다. 분석은 2013년 1월부터 2015년 12월 사이에 현저한 시황변동(주가급등)으로 조회공시 요구를 받았으며 그 답변이 미확정 또는 특이사항 없음인 종목을 대상으로 이루어 진다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 상기 종목의 경우 합리적으로 설명이 어려운 비정상수익 및 개인투자자들의 매수 증가 현상이 발생하고 있다. 둘째 동 기간의 개인투자자 매수 증가 현상은 한정관심에서 주장하는 바와 같이 개인투자자들이 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 주관적 관심요소 즉 상한가 여부, 거래량 증가 등의 관찰로부터 비롯된 것이다. 마지막으로 상한가 여부, 거래량 증가 등 주관적 관심요소의 관찰이 용이한지의 여부 즉 조회공시 요건에 해당 되는 현저한 시황변동이 나타났는지의 여부는 주가에 영향을 미친다.
