In a shallow fluidized (23×23cm IDX85cm High) Combustor. Heat transfer coefficient, Combustion efficiency, Thermal efficiency and On-off control of coalair system have been determined.
The heat transfer coefficient increases with an increase of gas velocity and bed temperature, decreases with large gas velocity. Increasing the size of particle shows the tendency of decreasing heat transfer coefficient.
Combustion efficiency increases with increasing excess air and bed temperature, decreases with increasing particle size. The slope of increasing combustion efficiency decreas with increasing excess air.
The minimum bed temperature which could be reached that would allow restart without auxilliary heating was 550℃. The time for the bed temperature to recover has been determined.
