A single photon CT(SPECT) scanner, GAMMATOM-1, is designed and constructed. The major design objectives are improvement of detector efficiency and high resolution. High efficiency is achieved by minimizing the distance between the object and detector. Resolution is directly related to the sampling interval, and 1/8 detector width sampling is realized with a new sampling scheme.
Hardware configuration, its operation and experimental result of the system will be reported.
단광자 방출형 CT scanner 인 GAMMTOM-1 을 설계 제작하였다. 설계의 주안점은 높은 효율과 우수한 공간분해능이었다. 물체와 검출기 사이의 거리를 극소화하여 효율을 높이고 검출기간의 간격의 1/8을 sample하는 새로운 방식을 고안하였다. 이와 같은 성능은 phantom 실험으로 확인되었으며 공간분해능은 7 mm 가 되었다.
본 논문에서는 GAMMATOM-1 의 Hardware 의 구성과 그 동작및 실험결과에 대하여 논하였다.
