We propose a technique to determine one of three possible M-ary PSK modulations of a received signal without prior information. The three modulation types are BPSK(binary phase shift keying), QPSK(quaternary PSK), and 8-PSK(8-ary PSK). The detection of the modulation type is determined by observing the phase locked signal and signal points in the phase plane. A computer simulation indicates that the detection algorithm works proves useful.
본 논문에서는 수신측에서 송신 신호에 사용된 변조 방식을 알지 못하는 상황에서 수신된 신호를 복조하여 복원된 신호의 값과 Phase Lock 신호를 이용하여 사용된 변조 방식을 검출하여 성공적으로 수신 신호를 복조하는 복조 모드 결정 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 적용된 가변 변조방식으로는 BPSK, QPSK, 8PSK 가 사용되었으며, 제안된 복조 모드 결정 알고리즘의 성능분석을 위하여 변조 및 복조 시스템을 SPW 를 이용하여 부동 소수점 모델로 구축하고, 시뮬레이션 결과를 나타내었다.
