The impacts of IT and the Internet make that the Traditional Manufacturing Companies adopt e-Business, because they believe the e-Business is the new management strategy for companies in new economy and new environments, and it brings competitive advantage to them.
But according to a survey (IDC), 46% of the companies estimated their e-Business Projects at failure. They said they didn't have good strategy for e-Business implementation.
The primary objective of this study is to provide the manufacturing companies with implementation strategy for e-Business. It consists of four parts, analysis of business environments in new economy, analysis of materials, case study on the advance companies of e-Business. And based on the analysis and case study, it will suggest an implementation strategy.
The results of study is following
1. We need vision for profitable business domain in the future
2. We enter the profitable business domain in the future by core competence, and to enforce it, transform business method to digital-order to make, virtual integration
3. We need to use partnership, strategic alliance and M&A to obtain competitive advantage.
4. We need to develop products to vision, and if it possible, it should be a useful digital products for digital environments.
