The usage of product have been grown more and more, and are still in process. Nowadays, with the rapid development of current technologies, one product has become large-sized and multi functionalized. Most of them, however, are not in proper use, because there are too many troubles in using those functions. Under this situation, computer networks make it possible to control home electronics with computer efficiently, and methods of controlling product with software in computer network environment are increasingly developing. In this background this study was performed in hypothesis that some products at home will be controlled more intelligently with the aid of computer and networks.
First, researching home automation environment and current technologies was carried out to make it certain the direction of home automation development and future environment. To get common factors of product's functions, this study analysed about 50 products's functions and classified the functions. And categorized and investigate the methods of converting products' functions to software interface. And with the data and analysis of customized home automation GUI developing guide line, "@home : home automation palt form" was constructed and examined.
인간의 제품사용방법은 날로 발전하고 있다. 기술의 발전으로 인해 하나의 제품이 가지고 있는 기능들이 무수히 많이 생겨나게 되었지만, 제품이 가지고 있는 여러 가지 기능을 사용하는데 생기는 여러 가지 문제점으로 제품의 다양한 기능이 효율적으로 활용되고 있지는 않는 상황이다. 이러한 상황에서 최근발전하고 있는 가정내의 제품 통신 방법과 네트웍 환경은 제품을 새로운 방법으로 제어하고 조작할 수 있는 환경을 만들어주고 있다. 본 연구에서는 앞으로의 가정환경에서 제품이 컴퓨터 네트웍을 이용해서 사용될 것이라 예상 하에 진행되었다. 우선 가정자동화 환경과 가정자동화 환경에서 사용되는 기본 기술들을 조사하여 앞으로 가정자동화의 발전방향을 살펴보았으며, 이를 바탕으로 앞으로 사용자의 제품 사용환경을 예상했다. 다음으로, 가정의 제품 사용환경을 분석하여 앞으로의 제품 사용환경의 변화방향을 검토하였으며, 50여 가지의 제품들을 조사하여 제품들이 가지고 있는 특성을 분석하고, 각각의 제품을 컴퓨터 소프트웨어로 제품을 제어할 때 어떠한 방법이 사용자가 제품을 사용하는데 효율적인지 종합적인 개발 기준과 방법을 정리하였다. 다음으로 정리된 기초 자료를 이용하여 실제 가정 자동화 플랫폼을 설계해 봄으로써 앞으로의 가정자동화 플랫폼의 사용방법을 가시화 하였고, 설계방법을 검증해 보았다.
