Mr. Mercedes : a novel King, Stephen The first book I read coming to Korea. It is the first part of a 3 book series that leads to 3 more books ending with Stephen King's newest release Holly. Mr. Mercedes, an unassuming title for a good book, was an entertaining quick read following ex Detective Bill Hodges and his hunt to find his un-solved murder case of the Mercedes Killer. I enjoy all of Stephen King's books, I am trying to work my way through all of his writings, but this one passed my expectations since they were set quite low (I was judging the book by the cover). Anyways it is gruesome, chilling and disgusting at parts, but everything I liked from King's works. :)

Everything I never told you : a novel Ng, Celeste Everything I never told you by Celeste Ng was a lovely read traversing through hardships a biracial family faces in 1970s Ohio, USA. The book follows the mysterious death of a teen, Lydia Lee, and the turmoil her family faces after. It was an emotional and enticing novel exploring multiple deep themes such as racism, self expression, societal standards, and more.
