The purpose of this study is to use news big data to identify the main agenda of media reporting on Yoon Seok-yeol, who has emerged as a leading presidential candidate in a short period of time, and to present the direction of future media reporting. To this end, a total of 28 topics(4 each) were derived by analyzing a total of 7 periods from the nomination of the prosecutor general(June 2019) to the defense remarks of Chun Doo-hwan(October 2021). In addition, through emotional analysis, the trend of the proportion of positive/negative reports by emotional analysis.Based on the analysis results, this study proposed the following items. First, it is confirmed that there is a tendency to repeatedly report provocative keywords and contents that attract the attention of news readers, so it is necessary to use neutral and objective reporting terms. Second, it is necessary to produce in-depth news to avoid simple straight reports and overlapping reports.This study is expected to be used to study the media's reporting method of future presidential candidates by analyzing the reporting behavior of Yoon Seok-yeol using big data.
본 연구의 목적은 뉴스 빅데이터를 활용해 단기간에 유력 대선후보로 떠오른 윤석열에 대한 언론 보도의 주요 의제가 무엇인지를 파악하고 향후 언론보도의 방향성을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해 윤석열이 본격적으로 언론에서 주목받기 시작한 검찰총장 지명(2019년 6월)부터 전두환 옹호 발언(2021년 10월)까지의 모두 7개 기간을 LDA토픽모델링으로 분석해 전체 28개의 토픽(각 4개)을 도출하였다. 또한 감성분석을 통해 시기별로 긍정/부정적 보도의 비중 추이를 확인했다.분석 결과를 토대로, 본 연구는 다음 사항들을 제안하였다. 첫째, 뉴스 독자의 이목을 끌 만한 자극적인 키워드와 내용을 반복적으로 보도하는 경향이 확인되어, 중립적이고 객관적인 보도 용어 사용이 필요하겠다. 둘째, 스트레이트성 단순 보도와 중복 보도를 피해 심층적인 뉴스 제작이 필요하겠다.본 연구는 빅데이터를 활용해 윤석열에 대한 보도 행태를 분석함으로써, 향후 대선 후보에 대한 언론의 보도 방식 연구에 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
