We addressed axion or axion-like dark matter models and a global network method to detect them. Plausible axion dark matter models are described and characterized for the global network detectors. An atomic magnetometer is introduced as one of the stable exotic-spin-coupling detectors. We installed an atomic magnetometer at KAIST Munji Campus in Daejeon, South Korea, and connected the magnetometer to the global network. We developed a new method to analyze the global network of time series data for terrestrial exotic event characterization. Performances and opportunities of the detector and the data analysis method are presented in this thesis.
이 논문에서는 액시온 암흑 물질과 그들을 검출할 전역망 방법에 대해 다루었다. 전역망 검출기를 통해 탐색할 수 있는 적절한 액시온 암흑 물질 모델들을 기술하였다. 그 중에서도 안정적으로 가동할 수 있는 원자 자력계를 색다른 스핀 작용 검출기로써 소개하였다. 원자 자력계를 대한민국의 도시, 대전에 있는 카이스트 문지캠퍼스 설치하였고, 전역망에 연결하였다. 또한 전역망에서 얻은 시계열 데이터를 분석하여 전지구적인 색다른 이벤트를 특정할 수 있는 방법을 개발하였다. 검출기와 데이터 분석 방법의 성능과 가능성을 다루었다.
