Let λ be a partition of n. Young's lattice of a partition λ is the poset of all partitions whose Ferrers diagrams lie in λ. We consider the unimodality of the rank generating function $G(\cal{Y}_{\lambda})(q)$ of Young's lattice. In this paper, we prove the unimodality of the case that λ is any self-conjugate partition whose Durfee square has size at most three and $\lambda_3$ ≤ 3.
λ를 n의 partition이라고 하자. 어떤 partition λ의 Young's lattice란 Ferrers diagram들이 λ의 Ferrers diagram안에 포함이 되는 모든 partition들의 poset이 라고 한다. 우리는 임의의 partition λ의 Young's lattice의 rank generating function $G(\cal{Y}_{\lambda})(q)$의 unimodality에 대해서 생각해 볼 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 selfconjugate하고 Durfee square의 크기가 3보다 크지 않은 partition중에서 특히 $\lambda_3$ ≤ 3 인 것의 unimodality를 보였다.
