On 11 March 2020, the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 a pandemic after the outbreak
of COVID-19 in Wuhan, China back in mid-December 2019. After the outbreak of the COVID-19
pandemic, we analyzed the political ideology and vaccination rates, using both state and MSA
(Metropolitan statistical area) data from the United States. Analysis showed that conservative voters
tend to be less vaccinated in the latter. Furthermore, we studied how economic and socio-cultural
factors relate to the COVID-19 infection spread rate and response policies, providing predictions and
implications that can be responded to future X-events.
3월 11일 세계보건기구(World Health Organization, WHO)는 전세계적으로 COVID-19
MSA(Metropolitan statistical areas)
