Crohn’s disease is a crucial disease which is increasing in developed country. As Crohn’s disease is a complex disease, the diagnosis process is also complex and time-consuming. To solve the problem, I suggest a new method to find the location of Crohn’s disease using stool sample. To reduce the complexity of microbiome data, scaling, outlier detection, and feature selection was conducted. By using embedding method, microbiome data which is compressed to be suitable for classification problem. The prediction score was highest in my method and based on the classifier feature importance score, I suggested a new microbe which can be important in Crohn’s disease diagnosis and treatment.
크론병은 선진국에서 가파르게 증가하고 있는 질병이다. 크론병은 복합질환인 만큼 진단 과정도 복잡하고 시간이 많이 걸린다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 대변 샘플의 미생물 정보를 활용해 크론병의 위치를 찾을 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 마이크로바이옴 데이터에서 중요한 정보만을 추출해 복잡성을 줄이고 임베딩 방법을 사용함으로써 분류 문제에 적합하도록 압축된 마이크로바이옴 데이터를 사용하였다. 이를 통한 크론병의 위치 예측에서 내 방식에서 가장 높은 점수를 보였다. 위치 예측 과정에서 사용된 정보의 중요도 점수와 이전에 발표된 연구를 바탕으로 크론병 진단과 치료에 중요할 수 있는 새로운 미생물을 제안했다.
