Mobile devices of various form factors have become popular. Users select the appropriate device for the task and utilize it in combination. However, it is challenging to move to another device while performing the task and continue the task seamlessly. Thus, we propose a technique to move objects from device to device by triggering simultaneous input of the gaze of the smart glasses and the touch gesture of the smartphone. In addition, we compare the performance and usability of three input modalities(smartphone touch, smartphone gyroscope, and smart glass gyroscope-based gestures) that enable object manipulation of smart glass without letting go of smartphone in the dominant hand.
다양한 폼 팩터의 모바일 기기들이 대중화되었다. 사용자는 과업에 적합한 기기를 선택하고 복합적으로 활용한다. 하지만 작업을 수행하는 중 다른 기기로 이동하여 끊김 없이 작업을 이어나가는 것은 어려운 일이다. 이에 우리는 스마트 글래스의 시선과 스마트폰의 터치 제스처를 동시에 입력하는 것을 트리거로 두 기기 간 객체를 이동시키는 기법을 제안한다. 이와 함께 스마트폰에서 스마트 글래스로 객체를 이동시키고 배치할 때 주 손에서 스마트폰을 놓지 않고 스마트 글래스의 객체 조작이 가능한 세 가지 입력양식(스마트폰 터치, 스마트폰 자이로스코프, 스마트 글래스 자이로스코프 기반 제스처)에 대한 성능과 사용성을 비교하였다.
