Human beings have experienced great changes with the invention of text and printing. Through text, mankind has moved beyond the limits of memory to form a more solid concept of state, religion, and social system, while science and technology, social systems, and state power have been further strengthened. Even today, human knowledge and information are embodied in the literation system, produced, stored, and utilized.
Recent advances in science and technology have allowed information and knowledge to be produced, processed, stored, shared, and utilized in almost real time, with the occurrence of movements, sounds, and scenes. And humans are rapidly adapting to this new mode of communication. Reading and writing are not inherent abilities that humans possess, but those that are learned through training. Perhaps the transition to the accumulation of knowledge information and communication in a de- literation way, such as words and movements, is a natural change for mankind.
We analyze the possibility of a de- literation phenomenon as a driver that will bring about a big change in the current writing culture-oriented social system, and predict the image of various future societies accordingly.
인류는 문자와 인쇄술의 발명으로 큰 변화를 경험했다. 문자를 통해 인류는 기억의 한계에서 벗어나 국가, 종교, 사회제도의 개념을 좀 더 공고하게 형성했고, 과학기술, 사회체제, 국가 권력은 더욱 강화되어 왔다. 현재에도 인류의 지식과 정보들은 문자시스템을 통해 구체화 되어 생산, 저장, 활용 되고 있다.
최근 과학기술의 발전으로 움직임, 소리, 장면 등의 발생과 동시에 소멸되는 정보와 지식들을 거의 실시간으로 생산, 가공, 저장하고, 이를 공유, 활용할 수 있게 되었다. 그리고 인간은 이 새로운 커뮤니케이션 방식에 빠른 속도로 적응해 가고 있다. 읽기와 쓰기는 인간이 가지고 있는 고유의 능력이 아니고 훈련을 통해서 학습되는 능력이다. 어쩌면 말과 동작 등의 탈(脫)문자 방식의 커뮤니케이션과 지식 정보의 축적으로의 전환은 인류에게 자연스러운 변화일지도 모른다.
현재의 문자문화 중심의 사회시스템에 큰 변화를 가져올 동인으로서 탈(脫)문자화 현상의 가능성을 분석하고, 이에 따른 다양한 미래사회의 변화 이미지를 예측해 본다.
