As long as humans create values and have desires to consume, digital platforms and financial markets cannot be separable. Some digital platforms are intrinsically designed for professional investors, whereas others introduce financial markets as supplementary instruments to encourage conventional participants. It is required for the former to process data efficiently to deliver more meaningful information, and the latter need to persuade their participants of the effectiveness of the new instruments. To this end, I formulated two essays to provide a comprehensive understanding of how digital platforms and financial markets can complement each other and ultimately benefit the participants in the rapidly changing business environment.
시장 참여자들이 끊임없이 가치를 생산하고 소비 욕구를 가지는 오늘날, 디지털 플랫폼과 금융 시장은 결코 분리될 수 없다. 일부 디지털 플랫폼들이 태생적으로 전문적인 투자자들을 위해 만들어지는가 하면, 또 다른 플랫폼들은 기존 참여자들을 유인하기 위해 보조 장치로써 금융 시장을 활용한다. 전자의 경우 데이터를 효율적으로 가공하여 더욱 의미 있는 정보를 전달하는 것이 중요하고, 후자의 경우 기존 참여자들에게 새로운 장치의 효과를 입증하고 나아가 설득하는 것이 중요하다. 본 학위논문에서는 디지털 플랫폼과 금융 시장이 어떻게 서로를 보완하고 궁극적으로 급변하는 시장 환경에서 어떻게 참여자들을 이롭게 할 수 있는지에 대해 두 가지 연구를 통해 탐구한다.
