We address design and control of a new under-actuated robot finger. While the displacement of the
passive joints of previously existing under-actuated robot finger is changed only by the contact with
the object to be contact, our newly designed finger can control the displacement of its passive joint even before the contact with the object. This change enables the finger to control "initial contact position", which is described in this paper. We proposed a mathematical model for our finger and analyzed the controllability of the model analytically. Also, we analysed quantitatively about design parameters of the system, leading to complement our proposed finger.

설계 파라미터에 대한 분석을 진행했고 그 결과를 정량적으로 분석하여 제안된 손가락의 성능을 보완하였다.
