Recently, research on force-based control has been actively studied with various advantages. Among them, WBC(Whole body control) can generate force at every contact point and cover various situations. The robot can also interact with the environment and balance it with multiple contacts. To generate the desired force, most studies use electric motors for precise torque control, which has the disadvantages of low power / weight ratios and copmliance. There have been several attempts to overcome this with pneumatic actuators, but the performance was poor due to the small bandwidth. Meanwhile, the platform used in this study is a hybrid type that uses pneumatic actuators in the knee and electric motors in the rest. Overcoming the torque performance of pneumatic actuators is essential for the whole body control using these platforms. The purpose of this study is to generate ground reaction and motion tasks that originally intended, even if the torque control performance of pneumatic actuators is insufficient. The additional torque compensator is attached to the original whole body controller and calculates the compensation torques from the electric actuators.
