Recently, mankind are facing a new era of the fourth industrial revolution. In this era, the interest in IoT(Internet on Things) and A.I.(Artificial Intelligence) technology is increasing day by day. Based on those technology and smartwatch, we developed a home rehabilitation system. This system is designed to learn human activity by supervised learning algorithm and classify home exercise for recording each exercise and time. We hypothesized that the system can elicit motivation for home exercise and help outpatient clinic doctor by the record of exercise.
Therefore, in this thesis, we studied (1) the development of home exercise system for human activity recognition based on A.I. technology and smartwatch and (2) evaluated the clinical effectiveness of home exercise system by utilizing the system for the patient post stroke and rotator cuff repair.
최근 세계는 4 차 산업혁명 시대를 맞이했고, 이와 함께 사물 인터넷(IoT)과 인공지능 기술에 대한 관심이 날로 증가하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 스마트 워치 기반의 사물 인터넷과 인공지능 기술을 응용하여 가정용 어깨 재활 시스템을 개발하였다.
해당 시스템은 가정 재활을 위한 재활 동작을 학습하고, 학습한 데이터를 바탕으로 운동을 분류하고 운동 시간과 종류를 데이터 베이스에 기록하여 차후 의료진의 진료를 돕고, 환자 개인의 운동 동기를 고취하여 치료 효과를 높일 수 것이라는 가설 하에 진행되었다.
그러므로, 본 연구에서는 원격 의료와 가정 재활을 위해 (1) 시스템 개발 부분과 (2) 뇌졸중 환자와 회전근개 파열 환자에 대한 임상적 적용 부분으로 나뉘어 연구를 진행하여, 개발 뿐 아니라, 임상적 적용까지 망라한 총괄적인 연구를 진행하였다.
