The technology itself is important for each company's investment in RPA technology to be effective, but the active and voluntary participation of engineers who need to introduce technology is of utmost importance. The purpose of this study is to investigate what factors should be managed in order to induce the voluntary participation of engineers by the executives who intend to introduce the RPA technology into the corporate practice. To do this, we developed a research model based on thirteen hypotheses by combining the technology acceptance model and the innovation resistance theory. We obtained a total of 211 data for practitioners working in the EPC industry through questionnaires. Analysis of data through AMOS showed that increasing the acceptability of technology by emphasizing individual innovativeness, job suitability, and relative advantage for physicians who are interested in participating in RPA technology development has a positive effect. However, it is difficult to say that it would have a positive effect on participation in technology development even if the resistance to innovation is reduced by resolving anxiety.
RPA 기술에 대한 각 기업의 투자가 실효성을 가지기 위해서는 기술 자체도 중요하지만 기술을 도입해야 하는 엔지니어들의 적극적이며 자발적인 참여가 무엇보다 중요하다. 본 연구는 RPA 기술을 기업 실무에 도입하고자 하는 기업의 경영진이 엔지니어의 자발적 참여를 유도하기 위해서 어떤 요인에 대해 집중적인 관리를 해야 하는지에 대해서 연구하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 기술수용모형과 혁신저항이론을 접목하여 13개의 가설을 기반으로 연구모형을 개발하였으며, 설문조사를 통해 EPC 업계에 근무중인 실무자를 대상으로 하여 총 211개의 데이터를 확보하였다. AMOS를 통해 데이터를 분석한 결과, RPA 기술 개발에 참여하고자 하는 의사에 대해 개인의 혁신성, 직무 적합성, 상대적 이점을 부각시켜 기술 수용성을 높이는 것은 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 직업에 대한 불안감을 해소하여 혁신에 대한 저항을 줄여주더라도 기술 개발에 대한 참여에 긍정적인 영향을 준다고 보기는 어렵다는 결과가 나타났다.
