The Muon g-2 experiment at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory aims to measure the anomalous magnetic moment of muons with a precision of 140 ppb level. The probe to acquire anomalous magnetic moment of muons is the spin precession rate caused by the interaction between a magnetic field and the muon spin. Thus muons are stored into a circular ring where also a pure magnetic field applied to measure the precession. Besides the dipole moment, all other factors that might cause the muon spin to precess need to be eliminated as well as all the possible errors decreasing the sensitivity of the measurement. One type of error sources of the experiment is the systematic errors that are due to the lack of information. We address the differential decay systematic error caused by the change in the average momentum of the muon distribution in the storage ring. A new method has been developed to fit the experimental data to investigate the g-2 phase information and to further study the errors caused by the momentum distribution.
