The purpose of this study is to investigate the news trends of P2P lending news, which has been changed varied upon the time and media trends. The p2p lending has emerged like a comet with an aim of replacing the already existing finance, which is in the blind spot. P2P lending has grown up exponentially through the rigid relationship with the media. Since then, it has been seen as an example of a 'start-up media relationship' as it is taking its lead in enacting the legislation by using the crisis as an opportunity despite of the negative public opinion spreading on the poor finance product. This study is meaningful in that attitude changes of the media trends regarding P2P lending are studied and visually examined using network analysis, word cloud analysis, and keyword analysis through text mining. As a result, this study has concluded that articles regarding P2P lending has shown different views depends on the characteristic of the news media. Economic news media, media which holds conservative or liberal view, and national terrestrial broadcasting media has shown different views and attitudes regarding P2P lending varied on the introduction period, growing period, painful growing period, and legislation period.
기존 금융권의 사각지대에 놓인 대안금융을 하겠다는 모토로 P2P금융은 혜성처럼 등장했다. 이후 언론과의 관계를 통해 폭발적으로 성장해온 P2P금융은 상품 부실 등으로 부정적 여론이 확산된 상황에서도 위기를 기회로 활용, 법제화까지 선도하는 모양새를 보이며 일종의 '스타트업-언론관계'의 모범사례로 꼽히고 있다.
본 학위논문은 시기별·매체성향별로 달라진 P2P금융의 뉴스경향 변화를 텍스트마이닝을 통한 키워드 분석, 워드클라우드 분석, 네트워크 분석 등을 통해 가시적으로 살펴봤다는 데 의의가 있다. 연구결과 P2P금융을 소재로 한 기사는 도입기, 성장기, 성장통기, 법제화기를 거쳐 각기 다른 경향성을 보였으며, 매체성향별로 경제지, 보수지, 지상파, 진보지가 P2P금융을 보는 시각 또한 상이한 것으로 나타났다.
