This study analyzes the return on the stock investment strategy using Piotroski F-score, a financial information score system based on fundamental analysis, and a Modified F-score which is based on F-score and considers industrial differences. The scoring criteria and weight of the existing F-score are preserved and the information of the industry differences is partially reflected. This thesis first confirm that there is a positive relation between Piotroski F-score and the stock returns in the Korean stock market. Later, Modified F-score was revised to reflect the fact that industry differences were not reflected in the existing F-score calculation, and it was confirmed that the modified F-score was positively correlated with the stock return. Finally, it was analyzed empirically that the profit of the investment strategy using the modified F-score is higher than the profit of the investment strategy using the F-score.
본 연구에서는 기본적 분석에 기반한 재무 회계정보 점수 체계인 Piotroski F-score와 산업 별 차이를 고려하여 개선한 Modified F-score를 활용한 주식 투자전략의 수익률을 분석한다. 이를 위해, 우선 한국 주식시장에서의 기존 Piotroski F-score와 주식 수익률 간의 양(+)의 상관관계를 보임을 확인 하였다. 이후, 기존 Piotroski F-score 산정에 산업별 차이가 반영되지 못함을 개선하여 Modified F-score를 재 산정하고 주식 수익률과 양(+)의 상관관계가 있음을 확인 하였다. 최종적으로 Modified F-score를 활용한 투자전략의 수익이 기존의 Piotroski F-score를 활용한 투자전략의 수익보다 높을 수 있음을 비교분석 하였다.
