One of the main research topics in public economics is the crowding out effects of the provision of public goods when individuals voluntarily contribute to public goods. This paper deals with the crowding out effects of the provision of public goods by considering the inefficiency factor of the provision of public goods in a warm glow giving model with tax evasion. If the degree of inefficiency is small enough, stronger warm glow motivation will lead to greater crowding out effects. On the contrary, if the degree of inefficiency is above a certain level, stronger warm glow motivation will lead to lesser crowding out effects.
공공경제학의 주요한 연구 주제 중 하나는 개인이 공공재 제공에 기여할 때 공공재 제공의 구축 효과에 관한 것이다. 이 논문에서는 조세 회피가 있는 따뜻한 빛 기부 모형에서, 공공재 제공 과정의 비효율성이라는 요소를 추가로 고려했을 때의 구축 효과를 분석한다. 만약 공공재 제공의 비효율성의 정도가 충분히 작다면, 개인의 따뜻한 빛 효과가 커질수록 공공재에 대한 구축 효과가 증가한다. 하지만 비효율성의 정도가 일정 수준 이상이라면, 개인의 따뜻한 빛 효과가 커질수록 공공재에 대한 구축 효과는 반대로 감소한다.
