Although Tax and Accounting sector is considered suitable for the adoption of Robotic Process Automation (RPA), the adoption of RPA in the Tax and Accounting sector is still inactive in South Korea. In this regard, this paper posted a research question based on literature research: What factors affect the resistance of employees in Tax and Accounting sector on the adoption of RPA? The hypotheses had been deduced based on literature research of resistance to change in IT and Information System sector and expert interview, the research model has been set by Structural Equation Model (SEM), and the data were collected via a survey. The research model has been modified based on the analysis of reliability and validity excluding latent and observing variables and were used to verify the hypotheses. The results show that relative advantage to adopt RPA and information (or guidance) level of RPA reduces the resistance while the organizational support for the change has a weak effect.
세무회계분야는 로보틱 프로세스 자동화(RPA)를 도입하기 적합한 분야 중 하나로 꼽히고 있으나 국내 세무회계분야의 RPA 도입은 아직 활발한 수준이 아니다. 이에 본 연구는 세무회계분야에 있어 RPA 도입이 실패하지 않기 위해서는 무엇을 고려해야 하는지 알아보고자 하였으며, 문헌연구를 통해 "RPA 도입에 대한 세무회계분야 종사자의 저항에는 어떤 요소들이 영향을 미치는가?"로 연구질문을 명확화하였다. 이후 IT 및 정보시스템 분야의 '변화에의 저항' 관련 기존 문헌연구 진행 및 전문가 인터뷰를 실시하여 연구 가설을 도출하고 구조방정식모델로 연구 모형을 설정하여 설문조사를 통해 데이터를 수집하였다. 수집된 데이터로써 신뢰성 및 타당성 분석을 수행한 결과 타당성 기준을 충족하지 못한 잠재변인 및 관측변수를 배제하고 연구 모형과 일부 가설을 수정하여 가설을 검증하였다. 연구 결과 RPA 도입에 따른 이익이 클 것으로 인지되는 경우 및 구성원의 RPA에 대한 지식 수준이 높거나 RPA에 대한 정보가 충분히 제공되는 경우 저항은 감소하는 것으로 나타났으며, 조직차원의 변화에 대한 지원이 저항을 감소시킨다는 연구가설은 기각되었다.
