The Korean bond market is dominated by the OTC market. However, as the electronic bond market becomes more active in Korea, it is questionable whether it will replace the over - the - counter market. So, according to the research methodology of Hendershott and Madhavan (2016), this thesis investigates which market is better surved for bond market investors. The empirical findings suggest that the bond electronic market is sustainable and enhances the need for development in terms of liquidity even in off-the-run bonds. In addition, I analyze the characteristics of the bond type in favor of the development of the Korean bond market and to reduce the transaction cost.
국내 채권 시장은 장외 시장이 대부분을 차지하고 있다. 그러나, 장내 시장이 점차 활성화 됨에 따라, 장외 시장을 대체할 수 있을 지 합리적 의구심을 갖는다. 따라서, Hendershott and Madhavan (2016)의 연구방법론에 따라, 본 연구는 어떤 방식의 국내 채권 거래가 투자자에게 가장 최적인지 알려준다. 결론적으로, 본 논문은 장내 채권 시장이 지속 가능함을 설명하고, 유동성 측면에서 발전 필요성을 제고한다. 또한, 현재 그 국내 장내 채권 시장 발전 중, 그 발전과 관련하여, 어떤 특징의 채권 방식을 선호하고 있는 지에 대해 분석하고 채권 거래에 대한 비용을 줄이는 방법을 제시한다.
