This study was conducted in order to understand the effects of psychological factors and online relationships on the switching intention of social media. Based on the migration theory, it uses PPM (push-pull-mooring) model and define negative psychological factors as push factors, online relationships as pull factors, and switching cost as the mooring factors. According to the study, (1) the SNS fatigue such as relative deprivation, invasion of privacy, and negative reputation have a positive impact on switching intention; (2) the quality of influencer has a negative impact; (3) and the quality of friendship and sunk cost have also meaningful impact on switching intention. The study suggests that SNS companies need strategies to prevent negative thoughts from spreading, to grow influencers in terms of relationships, and to increase the solidarity of online relationships.
본 연구는 심리적 요인과 온라인 인간관계가 SNS 전환 의도에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위하여 이주이론에 착안하여 진행하였다. Push-Pull-Mooring 모형을 기준으로 Push 요인을 부정적 심리 요인, Pull 요인을 온라인 인간관계, Mooring 요인을 전환비용으로 구분하였고, 특히 인플루언서와 우정의 질을 고려한 연구결과를 도출해냈다는데 의의가 있다. 연구결과에 따르면 (1) 상대적 박탈감, 프라이버시 침해, 부정적 평판 등 SNS 피로감은 SNS 전환의도에 긍정적 영향을 미치고, (2) 인플루언서의 질은 SNS 전환의도에 부정적 영향을 미치며, (3) 우정의 질과 전환 매몰 비용의 경우도 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인하였다. 이 연구 결과는 SNS 기업은 개인의 부정적 심리가 퍼져나가지 않도록 하고, 관계 측면에서 인플루언서를 성장시키고, 온라인 인간관계의 결속력을 높이는 전략이 필요함을 시사한다.
