As the fields of low altitude drone applications are constantly expanding to encompass not only military operations, but also civilian uses, the need for safety analysis research to prevent human and aircraft casualties is constantly increasing. In this thesis, a modeling method for the estimation of flight technical errors of drones is suggested. In order to gather data for the estimation of the flight technical errors for drones in operation, a flight simulation environment was constructed using a flight controller and a flight simulation program. After gathering the simulation data, the sources that contribute to the flight technical error were identified, and their influences on the flight technical error were analyzed. Finally, the minimum separation distances required for the avoidance of flight collisions were computed using Gaussian Mixture distribution models. The separation distances obtained from the innovative methods proposed in this paper were compared to the separation distances computed from existing Gaussian distribution models to assess the performance of the proposed modeling method.
