Color generation using nanostructures is expected to be a technology for high resolution display. Unlike conventional dye and pigment-based color filters, it is possible to realize ultra-fine pixels ranging from several hundred nanometers to several micrometers. However, one of the limitations of the color generation using such nanostructures is that it is difficult to tune the color actively once the structures are formed. Therefore, in this thesis, we discuss the methods for voltage-driven tunable color filters while using nanostructures. We will explore the methods for controlling the optical properties of materials and geometrical parameters of structures, and confirm the potential of voltage-driven tunability through simulation.
