Homology is a topological invariant. We can classify the most topological manifolds using the homology group. There are several different ways of defining homology groups. Among these ways, the simplicial homology groups came first historically and they are more effectively computable than the others. We shall show the existence of a computational algorithm for the simplicial homology groups. And then we shall introduce a computational algorithm. The algorithm is implemented in the Mathematica package "Homology.m".
호몰로지는 위상적 불변량의 하나이다. 호몰로지군을 사용하여 대부분의 위상적 공간들을 구분할 수 있다. 호몰로지군을 정의하는 데에는 여러가지 다른 방법들이 있지만, 심플리셜 호몰로지군이 역사적으로 오래되었고 다른 방법들에 비해 가장 효과적으로 계산할 수 있다.
본 논문에서는 심프리셜 호몰로지군을 계산하는 알고리듬의 존재성을 살펴보고 개념적인 알고리듬을 제시하였다. 그리고 이 알고리듬은 Mathematica를 사용하여 "Homology.m"이라는 패키지로 구현되었다.
이 패키지가 대수적 위상수학 및 조합수학 등 관련 분야 연구에 유용하게 쓰일 것으로 기대한다.
