Sun sensor is the most widely used sensor for attitude control of artificial satellites because the Sun is a good optical source for attitude measurement. In this study an analog sun sensor that utilize the difference signal between two identical but differently positioned photodiodes was made. The photodiodes were made using crystal Si and have triange-shaped light absorbing area. The accuracy of the sensor was about 1 degree. The reflection in the vicinity of the Al slit was the major problem of the sensor. To correct this problem, some low reflective material to fabricate the slit must be investigated. The major disadvantage of sensors using several detectors is that the used detectors must have the same characteristics. To remove this drawback, the use of a position sensitive photodiode is considered. The photodiode has 4 electrodes and can perform two axis measurement. The measured ouptut revealed tan$\theta$ dependence to the given angle. From the measurement data it can be concluded that with more accurate processing the position sensitive photodiode can be used to roughly measure two-axis angle variation with large field of view.
