For rotating machinery requiring high-speed, high-precision or rotations in the space equipment without mechanical contact or lubrication, the technology of active magnetic bearing has been developed and applied to various fields. The purpose of this paper is to design and manufacture the five-axis controlled magnetic bearing system with twelve electromagnets, and to acquire the design technology with elementary experiments.
