Two-dimensional incompressible flow field around a body of complex shape is analized by means of SIMPLER algorithm, which uses the staggered grid, with introduction of the multi-block method.
Difficulties in treating the block boundary values are overcome by overlapping oundary region of each block. Using the method proposed in the present study, several flow fields,(cavity flow, back-step flow, flow around a rectangular near a plane and flow past a car-shaped body) are computed.
