A nonperturbative approach to two dimensional quantum gravity is discussed using a double scaling limit of the matrix model. The operator formalism of the orthogonal polynomials gives an exact differential equation for the partition function of the 2 dimensional gravity as a function of string coupling constant. The different properties from existing perturbative theory are discussed. The correlation functions are constructed to all orders in the genus expansion. The extension of the matrix model to higher dimensioons is briefly discussed.
이차원 양자중력에 대한 비섭동론적 접근을 행열모형의 double scaling limit 을 써서 전개했다. 서로 수직인 다항식들에 대한 연산자 방법을 써서 이차원 중력의 분배함수를 주는 미분 방정식을 구한다. 기존의 섭동이론과 다른 특성들과 3 차원으로의 확장에 대해서 토론했다.
