The navier-Stokes equations are solved numerically for the steady state flow past a normal finite flat plate for low Reynolds numbers in the range $0.3\le{R_n}\le{20}$. The solution for steady state flow near the edges is obtained in polar coordinate and then the numerical solution is replaced continuously by it. The method of solution is based on time dependent procedure using a distorted time.
