Due to the unprecedented rate of growth in technology and diversified system functionalities, individuals today undergo high levels of cognitive complexity. In this research, we propose a novel methodology to measure levels of users’ ease of use on the user interface (UI) design. Specifically, we dichotomize the informational entropy into prior (predicted) and posterior (observed) and analyze users’ interaction with the UI during their exploratory search phase.
빠르게 발전하는 현대기술로 인하여 사용자들은 시스템의 다양한 기능을 사용 할 수 있는 장점과 동시에 다양한 기능으로 인하여 인지적 복잡도를 겪게 되었다. 본 학위 논문에서는 사용자가 탐험적 탐색 방법으로 UI 사용 할 때의 용이도 측정 방법을 정보적 복잡도, 즉 정보 엔트로피에 기반하여 이를 사전 예측 엔트로피와 사후 경험 엔트로피로 나누어 제안하고자 한다.
