This study is focused on the providing the objective overview on how this Chinese capital that entered Korean influenced on the Korean contents enterprises. Through case studies and in-depth interviews, this study shows you what kind of changes have occurred and what kind of roles the Chinese capital has played in the drama production fields. Furthermore, the scenario method was taken to show how this capital could be used as one of the opportunity factors.
The results show that some positive effects have been exercised such as the offering of stable foundation for the production, and opportunities to enter Chinese market. Even more by securing copyright, production companies could have a chance somehow to break away from the dominance of the broadcasting companies and to survive as a independent business. Some unstable factors still exist when Chinese capital is withdrawn from Korean business. One of the most important issues to make is whether the influx of Chinese capital could be an opportunity for the Korean contents business to grow the international competitiveness and to enter the global contents market.
본 연구는 국내콘텐츠기업에 유입된 중국자본이 어떤 영향을 미치고 있는지를 실증적으로 파악하고자 했다. 사례연구, 심층인터뷰의 방식으로 드라마제작 분야에 어떤 변화가 나타나는지, 중국자본이 어떤 역할을 하고 있는지를 살펴보았다. 또한 시나리오법으로 중국자본을 어떻게 기회요인으로 활용할 것인지를 탐구해보았다. 연구결과 중국자본은 국내 드라마제작사에 보다 안정적인 제작기반과 중국 진출의 기회를 제공하고 있었으며, 저작권을 확보함으로써 방송사 하청에서 벗어날 수 있게 하는 등 긍정적 효과를 보이고 있었다. 불안요소는 여전히 남아있지만 중국자본을 자생력의 확충과 글로벌 콘텐츠시장에 진출할 기회로 만든다면 불안요인은 충분히 극복 가능한 것으로 보인다.
