Behaviors of evaporating sprays such as changes of trajectories, diameters and temperatures of drops and velocity and temperature of ambient gas were studied numerically. Injection velocities and temperatures of gas and drops, initial drop diameter, number of injected drops were taken as parameters for the analyses. Two-phase calculations were performed by using the PSIC(Particle-Source-In-Cell) model. The Lagrangian approach was adopted for the liquid(drop) phase whereas the Eulerian approach for the gas phase. For dilute sprays, as discussed in the present case, the drop behaviors were much effected by the ambient gas flow; however, the drop motions gave minor effects on the gas flow field. Effects of parameters on the drop behaviors were presented with physical explanations.
