Locally optimum detection schemes for weak composite signals having both deterministic and stochastic signal components in purely-additive noise are derived using the generalized version of the Neyman-Person's fundamental lemma for three different cases. The locally optimum detector test statistics are derived according to the relative signal strength of the deterministic signal component and the stochastic signal component. A reparametrization rule is proposed to expedite the derivation. The locally optimum detectors for composite signals are compared to those for deterministic signal only and those for random signal only. Schematic diagrams of the locally optimum detector structures are included. Finally examples of the locally optimum detector test statistics are shown for the generalized Gaussian noise distribution, generalized Cauchy noise distribution and Student's t noise distribution.
이 논문에서는 순가산성 잡음에서 복합 신호를 검파하는 국소 최적 검파기를 얻었다. 종래의 알려진 신호 검파기나 확률적 신호 검파기와는 달리 관측모델이 이 두 신호 성분을 모두 가지고 있다고 가정함으로써 좀 더 일반화된 모델을 먼저 설정한 다음, 이 모델 아래에서 일반화된 Neyman-Pearson 정리를 써서 국소 최적 검파기의 검정 통계량을 유도하였다. 이 검정 통계량은 알려진 신호와 확률적 신호의 상대적 세기를 나타내는 매개변수의 값에 따라 세가지의 다른 형태를 갖는다는 것을 보였다. 특히 알려진 신호 성분의 감쇠율에 대한 확률적 신호 성분의 감쇠율의 비가 2일 때, 두 신호 성분은 검파기의 구조에 함께 영향을 준다는, 다시 말해 국소 최적 검파의 측면에서 두 신호가 비슷한 세기를 갖는다는, 사실을 알 수 있었다.
이와 같이 얻은 검정 통계량에 바탕을 두어 국소 최적 검파기의 구조를 그림으로 보였으며, 순가산성 잡음이 일반화된 정규 분포, 일반화된 Cauchy 분포 및 t 분포를 가질 때 검정 통계량들의 보기를 보였다.
한편 이 논문에서 얻은 국소 최적 검파기의 성능을 알아보는 것도 뜻있는 일인데, 표본의 크기가 무한대일 때의 점근적 성능 특성과 표본의 크기가 유한한 때의 검파 확률에 대한 연구를 현재 하고 있다. 또한 잡음이 비가산성일 때의 복합 신호 검파 문제와, 잡음과 복합 신호가 서로 상관되어 있을 때의 검파 문제도 흥미있는 과제이며, 현재 이에 대한 연구를 진행하고 있다.
