Self-pumped phase conjugation (SPPC) which can generate phase conjugate wave (PCW) by only one incident wave is investigated in $BaTiO_3$ single crystal. The optic axis of $BaTiO_3$ uniaxial crystal is determined through the conoscope figure formed by a convergent laser beam between polarizers. By two wave energy coupling experiment hole-electron competition rate R is 0.8 and effective density of photo-refractive charge carriers N$_{pr}$ is $1.12\times10^{22}m^{-3}$. Asymmetric self-defocussing effect is observed and interaction regions where DFWM occurs are observed in the crystal. We investigate variance of interaction zones according to incident height. Varying the angle of incidence, we choose the situation that only two interaction zones take a place, and under that situation we measure reflectivity, and then it compared with theory. SPPCW is found as its maximum reflectivity of 48% and having good ability of image reconstruction by experiment. Relations between response time of PCW and incident intensity is investigated such that $τ=36I^{-0.89}$.
