Purpose of this thesis mainly lays on proposing a reasonable and effective management system for a creator or copyrighter concerning digital contents and copyright law while, on the other hand technically, on building a dynamic license and suggesting system design based on MPEG-21 REL technology. A system in the future which is designed with a result of this study will bring a huge benefit to creator (copyrighter) with more accurate confirmation of scope of copyright by providing a representative new model of historical data management system in the digitalized copyright area as well as tracking changing status of copyright continuously.
저작권법이 지향하는 목적에 부합되도록 디지털저작물의 특성을 충분히 반영하여 창작자나 저작권자에게 합리적인 관리 시스템을 제시하고자 하는 것이 이 논문의 목적이며 기술적으로는 mp3, DRM, XrMRL 등으로 불리던 기존의 정적 라이선스를 대체할 MPEG-21 REL기반의 동적 라이선스의 구현과 시스템의 설계를 위한 제안에 있다. 본 연구를 통해 향후 구현될 시스템은 창작자들에게는 지속적으로 변화하는 저작권의 권리범위를 보다 명확히 해주어 다양한 협력을 통한 창작활동을 지원, 활성화하는 새로운 동적 디지털 콘텐츠 관리 시스템의 표준모델을 제시하고 실질적인 저작권의 보호 및 관리에 있어서도 지금의 난제들을 해결해 줄 유용한 방안들을 제시해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
