The movement of Rainbow Ring represents a physical phenomenon. In this thesis, we propose a simple computational model of Rainbow Ring and the (animated) sequences of its states are displayed on monitor.
The animated sequence is displayed off-line. We consider the time efficiency when the states of Rainbow Ring are calculated in a frame and in between frames. The movements of Rainbow Ring are animated for 10 seconds and the examples are given.
All algorithms are implemented in Microsoft C 5.0 and HALO package on a Trigem/AT with EGA board running under DOS 3.21. board.
