Catalyst of metallosilicate was synthesized by two methods in which NaOH (pH > 10) and $NH_4F$(pH<10) were used.
Structure of ZSM-5 substituted by metal was characterized by XRD and $^{29}Si$ MAS NMR. TPD of $NH_3$ was carried out to measure acidity of metallosilicate catalysts. TPD result showed that catalyst synthesized with $NH_4F$ has the maximum peak at 873K due to the presence of strong acid sites. Metallosilicate which has the acid sites of medium strength (567K-673K) has large selectivity for NNDMA. [Al]ZSM-5(37%) and [Ni] ZSM-5(40%) catalysts showed this selectivity behaviour.
Alkylation reaction of aniline with methanol indicated that the strong acidic catalyst synthesized with $NH_4F$ has strong deactivation behaviour. ZSM-5 structured metallosilicate has larger shape selectivity for small NMA than bulky NNDMA.
