In this thesis, the business logistics for the firms producing hazardous products such as explosives is analyzed.
For the inbound business logistics of explosive products, the deteriorating inventory model which allows repairing the deteriorated raw materials is provided with the optimal repairing point and inventory cycle, and discussed with the previous researches for the deteriorating inventory model which did not assume repairing the deteriorated.
For the outbound business logistics of explosive products, the integrated model considering the stocking policy, central warehouse location, and transportation mode selection together is presented and applied to. With results, the strategies of the outbound business logistics for the firm producing explosives are derived and suggested to relocate the central warehouse and to stock quite a small annual sales item in the central warehouse.
Finally limitations of this study and suggestions for future researches are presented.
