The purpose of this paper is to analyze the factors influencing for user resistance to security protection in Fintech Focusing on Mobile Payment. It also aim to analyze the psychological and individual factors related to user resistance for using Fintech Mobile Payment.
As major security incidents were occurred in the recent years, it is clear that security incidents affected the most significant impact on a negative psychological social influence. And it is expected to increase security risk due to rapidly increasing security threat. As the fastness and easiness are the most important factors of Fintech, the probability of major security incident such as hacking would be higher than the past. For that reason, We designed user resistance part related to security protection of the research model based on Innovation Resistance. This study shows important factors of security protections which are consist of five elements(Authentication, Non-reputation, Confidentiality, Privacy Protection and Integrity) to recover trust and lower user resistance for Fintech Mobile Payment.
In addition, the analysis shows that the individual factor such as switching benefit can affect perceived value and user resistance. If it provides high switching benefit for Fintech, consumers consider accepting changes to the Fintech Mobile Payment and the analysis also shows that negative psychological social influence and security risk affect user resistance.
The results of this study provide several important implications for Fintech Mobile Payment companies. Suggestions are offered for ensuring trust and recovering chasm to expand the market of Fintech Mobile Payment.
이 연구는 모바일 결제를 중심으로 핀테크에 대한 보안 특성이 사용자 저항에 영향을 주는 요인을 분석하기 위한 목적으로 연구가 되었으며, 또한 보안적 요소 뿐만 아니라 핀테크 모바일 결제의 사용자 저항과 관련 심리적 및 개인적인 요소에 대한 분석도 목표로 하고 있다.
최근 대형 개인정보 유출 사고가 계속적으로 발생함에 따라 보안 사고는 부정적인 심리적 사회 영향에 확실하게 심각한 영향을 끼치고 있는 것이 사실이다. 그리고 급속도로 증가하는 보안위협으로 인하여 보안 위험성이 계속적으로 증가되고 있는 실정이다.
더욱이 결제 시 복잡한 보안절차 등을 간소화함에 따라 신속함과 편리함이 핀테크의 가장 중요한 요소가 된 반면에, 해킹과 같은 대형 보안사고가 발생할 확률은 과거보다 더 높아질 수 있는 위험이 존재하게 되었다.
따라서 핀테크 모바일 결제 서비스에 대한 사용자 저항의 연구를 위하여 혁신 저항을 기반으로 보안 요소에 관련된 사용자 저항 모델을 설계하여 근본적인 원인을 분석하여 대책을 수립하고자 한다.
이 연구를 통하여 핀테크 모바일 결제에 대한 고객의 신뢰를 회복하고 사용자 저항을 낮추기 위하여 보안의 5가지 세부요인(인증, 부인방지, 기밀성, 개인정보보호, 무결성)중 신뢰와 사용자 저항에 미치는 중요한 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석하였다.
또한 전환이익과 같은 개인적인 특성은 지각된 가치와 사용자 저항에 영향을 줄 수 있는 것으로 분석되었는데, 만약 핀테크에 높은 전환 이익을 제공한다면 고객들은 핀테크 모바일 결제로의 변화를 수용하는 것을 고려하게 될 것이다. 그리고 부정적인 심리적 사회 영향과 보안 위험성은 사용자 저항에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.
이 연구의 결과는 핀테크 모바일 결제 기업들을 위하여 보안대책의 강화 뿐만 아니라 심리적인 특성과 개인적인 특성을 강화할 수 있는 여러가지 중요한 방법을 제공할 뿐만 아니라, 서비스에 대한 신뢰를 보증하고 핀테크 모바일 결제 시장을 크게 확장하기 위하여 Chasm을 극복하기 위한 방안을 제시하였다.
