Four types of maintenance policies for intermittently-used systems are studied. The usual models of age, periodic, and block replacement, and coordination of maintenances for a group of machines are modified into the case of intermittent use. The system is used when a need occurs and then idle for some time. Since the system is intermittently used, our policies are based on the number of uses or cummulative use-time and preventive maintenance actions are scheduled at system idle time. The time duration of uses are assumed i.i.d. random variables. The replacement time and system idle time are also assumed zero. The average cost rates of each model are obtained and the optimal numbers or optimal cummulative use-times which minimize the average cost rates are explored. Exponential duration of a use and Weibull or Erlangian TTF are assumed. Numerical examples for each model are given.
대부분의 정비 모형들은 장비의 예방 또는 계획 교환 시점을 정할때 장비의 수명 또는 다른 기준에 근거하여 정확한 최적시점에서 항상 장비를 교환한다고 가정하였다. 그러나, 주문생산체계에서와 같이 장비의 사용이 불연속적일때는 장비의 유휴 시간에 예방 또는 계획 교환을 행하는 것이 바람직할 것이다. 이러한 정비 방안은 장비를 교환하고 set-up 한 후, 시험 가동 등에 필요한 시간이 무시하지 못할 정도로 클 때 더욱 잇점이 있다. 장비의 교환은 유휴 시간내에 항상 끝날 수 있다는 가정과, 각 사용 시간은 i.i.d. random variable 이라는 가정아래 수명교환, 정기교환, 그리고 일제교환 모형을 장비의 유휴 시간에만 예방 또는 계획 교환을 행하는 이산적(discrete) 교환 모형 A, B, C 로 모두 바꾸어 보았다.
연속생산체계에서와 같이 장비의 사용이 연속적인 경우에는, 각 계획 시평의 시작점 또는 끝점 등에서 정비를 행하는 것이 예산 및 인원의 확보에 유리하고, 각 계획 시평의 생산 계획 등에 도움을 줄 수 있다. 이러한 관점에서, 많은 종류의 장비에 대한 통합 정비 모형을, 각 계획 시평의 시작 또는 끝점에서 정비를 행하는 모형 D 로 바꾸어 보았다.
