Comparing the PWM method by Space Vector Modulation with the convensional PWM method, The merits of convensional PWM method are, first, applicable to the inverter control scheme of the single or three phase inverter, Second, implemented with simple hardware structure, and finally, able to remove the any component of harmonic frequency. On the other hand, Considering the merits of Space Vector Modulation scheme, Space Vector Modulation method can generate PWM pulse in case of any ratio of carrier frequency over modulating frequency, and another characteristics is approximately same harmonic component comparing with that of convensional PWM scheme on the same carrier frequency.
