The induction motor fed PWM inverter has been extensively used with the development of power electronics. The output of PWM inverter, which is generated by the comparison between the reference wave and the carrier wave, unavoidably produces the torque ripple for subharmonic PWM methods are compared and analyzed according to modulation index variation, and then the best scheme is recommended.
