This study is concerned with numerical simulation of the laminar natural convection heat transfer phenomena. Finite difference solutions to the Boussinesq equations were obtained for a finite-width flat plate with various inclination angles. Body-fitted coordinate system was used to overcome the difficulty associated with the complex physical domain.
The result indicate that the velocity profile in the upper and the lower region of plate is largely depend on the inclination angle. In the view of average Nusselt number, as Rayleigh number is large, the inclination effect is bigger than that of small Rayleigh number.
