An isokinetic exercise system was designed and manufactured to perform muscular performance test, training of athletes and rehabilitation of patients. The system majorly consists of gear box, D.C servo motor with servo controller and data reduction system.
Preliminary experiments were conducted to find out the performance of the system. The performance of the prototype isokinetic exercise system was turned out to be satisfactory compared with a commercial product called CYBEX system.
