In a high field NMR imaging, chemical shift, main magnetic field inhomogeneity and magnetic susceptibility effects result in some artifacts on image and their artifacts are nearly same. This artifacts are shown as the position shift and the change of image intensity. Among these effects, the magnetic susceptibility term gives severe geometrical shifts and the overlap of image intensity locally, so that the image can be misunderstood. This thesis proposes a new method with which the magnetic susceptibility effect is measured without any influences of chemical shift and magnetic field inhomogeneity.
Some experimental results of the proposed method show that this method is useful to measure magnetic susceptibility effect.
핵자기 공명영상에서 Susceptibility effect 만을 추출 할 수 있는 방법을 제시하여 chemical shift, main magnetic inhomogeneity와 구별하고 또 한 화소(pixel) 내에서 susceptibility 에 의한 자장의 불균일성을 구했다.
이 방법은 echo-time encoding 방법과 magnitude technique 를 이용하여susceptibility에 의한 효과를 영상화 하는 것이다. 또한 susceptibility 에 의해 물체에 국부적으로 변형되는 것을 원상복귀시키는 방법도 제안 하였다.
